The stadium of FC De Kempen in Tielen was well filled when Lierse played tonight against first division team Dender, where a lot of players didn’t play and rested. The Pallieters took the initiative but they didn’t get chances in the first half. The visitors didn’t play much better, but the boys out of the Dender region came in front. Already after 8 minutes the score was 0-1. Dender took a corner and the Lierse defense let Wittersaele score with the head. Lierse had tot wiat until 20 minute before the end to equalize. Cavens was the man of the reparation in the midfield, he gave the ball to a strong playing Garry De Graef , who came inside, dribbled his opponent and equalized with a shot in the short corner.
