beverenres.jpgLierse reserves played KSK Beveren at the Lisp on Friday evening. From the Lierse first team squad, only Goris and Ventose started. The match began evenly with several very big chances. An enjoyable first half for the spectators. Leeroy De Keersmaeker scored a world class goal, a shot from distance landed in the top corner.

In the second half the tempo was somewhat lower, which taking into account the bad weather was logical. The play was sloppier and Beveren were able to profit from that. Seedorf scored the equaliser. Lierse still had some good chances, but couldn’t find the net, and the match ended 1-1.
