Mohamed Abdel Wahed suffered a thigh muscle injury at the end of training yesterday. A doctor’s examination today will find out if it’s a muscle tear or a strain.

Sven Vanderjeugt also has a thigh problem, and will have an echography done today. Good news though for Bob Peeters, he was able to rejoin group training for the first time since his achilles injury.

Lorenzo Rimkus is out for Saturday’s match against Tienen, with a hamstring strain. Lierse also have three players suspended for Saturday: Bojovic (1-match ban), De Witte (1st of 2 matches) and Miller (3rd of 3).
